Our lightest beer, made from 100% malted barley. This blonde lager is what sailors really swam to shore for; it’s light, with very little bitterness and a slight malt finish.

Can. Hazy golden, low head. Straw malt base, light grassy hops, slightly cheesy/skunked - don’t ask me how that happened, the sun is strong enough to shine through metal on Maui it seems. Lightbodied, yet somewhat chewy, mellow mouthfeel. Fruity finish.

Light haze on this gold beer. Little white head. Crispy and semi dry palate. Mildly creamy pale malt. For a lager this has reasonable hops - citris orange. Minerals. Semi soft and semi dry finish, Decent lager that hits the spot.

Can from Cotteridge Wines; been drinking lager style drinks from the Oktoberfest this is better than all of them.

12 oz can purchased at the Rodeo General Store in Makawao. The pour is clear golden with a one inch pure white head. The aroma is lightly caramel malt and a bit of grassy hops. Both are pretty subtle, but clean. The taste is the nose, for the most part, caramel lightly sweet malt along with grassy hops that dry out the finish. The palate is light to medium bodied, fairly low carbonation level, and the dry finish. I had this on draft and in the can several times while in Maui, and the fresh can was certainly the best. This beer is solid, just a bit basic.

355 ml can. Almost clear, orange golden body with a moderate, lacing white head. Mild but quite pleasant aroma of malt and a hint of grassy hops. Flavor is soft and smooth malt with a light and grassy hop profile, some fruit as well. Medium to thin body. OK as a standard lager with a clean malt flavor, but frankly quite boring. Nothing is really going on here besides quenching your thirst.

Canned 355ml (Kaisla, Helsinki)
Golden, slighlty hazy color, small white head, lace. Grainy, barley aroma, hints of cardboard. Light to medium-bodied. Grainy, somewhat fruity maltyness. It is not the most fresh helles, but has some grassy hoppyness and lacks off-flavors. Quite German (instead of American).
