Super hazy (of course) straw coloured body with a lighter golden glow and a very large, super thick, eight to nine centimetre tall just off-white head that covers the beer for a long time and eventually fades down. Aroma of pure Tang (tangerine) powder, like when you shake the can a lot and open the lid to get the mix really in the air, but there is a lot of hops in here as well, all with a big citrus component and a nice malt and wheat note from the malt bill that seems on the easier-to-drink side, but supportive, at least. Medium-bodied; Strong rich tangerines and full oranges come through at first with a big bite of candy sweetness and tropical sugars right behind and a light, but noticeable hop bitterness here that hits well at the end. Aftertaste is crisp from the tangerines, but fairly easy drinking with a nice balance of malt and hops, but even better balance of sugars and alcohol that is noticeable, but not cloying nor too strong. Overall, a pretty nice, super fruity/tangeriney beer that has more of a Tang note and artificial aspect than anything real or fresh, but nice throughout and perhaps the fakeness actually works out in it's favor! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Trader Joe's in Falls Church (Bailey's Crossroads, Skyline), Virginia on 25-August-2022 for US$1,84 sampled a few weeks later in my hotel room here in Reston, Virginia on 04-October-2022.
