nocturnal, a coffee vanilla barrel aged stout. Misha's Coffeehouse & Roaster provided us with some Brazilian coffee beans that give the beer a tasty mellow roast flavor, and freshly scraped Madagascar vanilla beans add a touch of sweetness.

Tap. Pours opaque black, small brown head, dispatch to a ring with some lacing. Aroma is really pleasant, coffee, bourbon, vanilla, marshmallow, mocha. Flavor is fairly sweet, light plus bitter, prominent vanilla and coffee, rich chocolate. Full body, creamy. Well done.

Draft at Ocelot. Poured a really dark, pitch black color with a small tan head. Chocolate, cocoa powder. Light Count Chocula. Touch of vanilla and some light tobacco. Mild roasted notes. Dry, semi-sweet finish. Nice!

4 oz pour on draft at Ocelot. Black with tan head. Aromas of roasted coffee, dark chocolate. Tastes of roasted coffee, light whiskey, toffee, light oak, dark chocolate. Medium-full body with a dry finish. Well masked alcohol. Very tasty.
