A full bodied malt forward Scottish style ale brewed to tradition. The dark copper body is complimented by rich notes of caramel and dried stone fruit with a touch of peat smoke on the palette to finish. Aged 3 months in One Eight Distilling Whiskey barrels.

Mostly just barrel and some mash malt. Pours hazy brown with ok head and lacing. Some mash sweetness. Tap at Snally.

Draft at Snallygaster 2016. Poured a clear dark amber-brown color with a small white head. Aroma was light boozy caramel notes. Toffee. Lots of alcohol comes through in this. Vanilla, woody notes. Toffee, alcohol.

6 oz pour on draft at Snallygaster 2016. Brown with beige head. Aromas of caramel, dark fruit, oak, whiskey. Tastes of dark fruit, oak, caramel, toffee. Medium body with a dry finish.
