Decent smoke and roast. Some dark chocolate. Black pour with good head and lacing. Bitter finish with some caramel. Good balance, and good all around. Tap at Snally.

4oz pour at Snallygaster 2016. Poured a nearly pitch black color with a small tan head. Aroma was light sweet roasted notes. Mild bitter dark chocolate. Flavor had woody vanilla character, light smoke, but not overpowering compared to many smoked beers. Smooth.

6 oz pour on draft at Snallygaster 2016. Black with tan head. Aromas of caramel, toffee, dark chocolate, roast, coffee, light smoke. Tastes of dark chocolate, smoke, caramel, toffee. Full body with a dry finish.

2015 HAF. Pours a near jet black color with a medium tan head. A big toasted malt, smoke and woody nose. Heavy sweet malts, smoke, dark rye bread, chocolates, some spices in the finish. Caramel. Awesome.
