Cask, as Five Lamps, 4.5 %, half pint, house beer at Five Lamps in Derby. Patch layer at the top of a clear copper coloured body. Dotted spots to glassware. Caramel malty nose with herbal dryness. Smooth taste of caramel malts. Clean in the mouth. Satisfying (21.02.2015).

Cask handpump at the Five Lamps, Derby, Saturday 17th January 2015 Listed as Five Lamps Ale. Pours burnished copper, clear. Really fruity twang, good bitter nothing out of the ordinary but in great condition and tastes decent. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Cask (handpump) @ The Five Lamps, 25 Duffield Road, Derby, Derbyshire, England DE1 3BH.Clear medium orange amber colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, light wood - licorice, light to moderate hoppy, licorice root. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20111021]
