Nice stuff, and easy drinking Belgian. Light bubble gum and some hay. Clear golden pour without much head. Crisp finish. A bit of orange peel. Tap at brewery.

750ml bottle. Consumed over Thanksgiving. Poured a mostly clear dark yellow color with a very small head. Aroma was some light bubblegum, some yeast, herbal notes. Flavor had some wheat, grain. Light coriander. Some herbal spicy notes.

Crisp and very clear peach and apricot coloured body with almost no head at all on top, perhaps a sliver of an off-white, very soapy head. Aroma of mellow malts, some light fruits and sweetness, a dose of flowers and perfume, moderate yeast and coriander seed freshness and a dose of herbs near the end with some fennelseed around as well. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong wheatie flavour with a big dose of coriander seed freshness, some mellow malt, a good dose of grass and perfume, a little hay and some more pungent fruit-based sugars and ending with a light trickle of grassy hop bitterness. Aftertaste shows more of a wheat and perfume characteristic than anything else with a lot of grain, some yeast and a lot of fruit and sweetness at the tail end with a lot of curacao floating around. Overall, a well-balanced saison that shows some nice characteristics, but no mangosteens in here nor any real assertive notes at all...which is too bad, since it is one of my favourite fruits, when sampled in the right place, i.e. SE Asia, not Richmond, Virginia, USA. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Total Wine in Fairfax, Virginia on 10-September-2017 for US$6,99 sampled at home in Washington on 30-October-2017.
