Polycask @ Rutland Arms, 86 Brown Street, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England S1 2BS.Clear medium to dark orange colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy apple, wood, vanilla, farmhouse notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light acidic with a long to average duration, dry apples. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20111020]

Golden colour. Soft appley aroma is almost cheesy. Tannins from the skins, with sweet fruit in the middle. The tannins return with alcohol to dry out the finish slightly, only a hint of woodiness. Has good complexity to it.
