Bottle 50 cl. Pours a deep brown - close to black - with a reddish hue and a neat beige head. Sweet milk chocolate in the nose atop a subtle roastiness. Medium body, again this subtle roastiness, the milk chocolate is now relieved by licorice but also some (friendly) phenols that seem quite out of place in a beer like this. A little ashes in there too. Hardly any bitterness. Pleasant though. 080911
