Reviewed from notes.
Growler to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown in color with a finger's worth of tan foamy head which settled fairly quick to leave subtle lace.
Aroma: light notes of milk chocolate and molasses and/or treacle-ish accents, subtle earthiness underneath
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a slight sweet to earthy and subtle toasty quality; finishes leaning into the molasses and/or treacle-ish vibe with some chocolate
Texture: medium bodied, I think it's more of a sipper due to the molasses and/or treacle-ish character going on; some smoothness (I thought this was going to be a syrupy-ish mess but I was kinda wrong on that), then a sort of woody drynness quaintly adding it's vibe in there
Overall: pretty odd porter to me, kinda left scratching my beard on this one as it wasn't a bad beer but it's nothing to go nuts about as to needing it again.

growler-thanks hbmason-pours mahogany with a cascading tight tan head with lacing. Aroma is roasty/chocolate/molasses-medium malt. Taste is chicory, dusty cocoa/molasses-medium malt, some earthy hops. Towards medium body.
