Bottle at chriso’s Easter tasting 2012, thanks to madmitch76. It pours hazy deep brown, with a reddish hue and beige head. The nose is roasted malt, coffee, toast, dough, pine and resin. The taste is chocolate, caramel, leather, roasted malt, coffee, dark fruit, toast, resin, good bitterness and well hidden alcohol, with a dry roasted finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Good stuff.

Bottle 75 cl. Hazy reddish dark brown with a creamy beige head. Fresh lightly citrusy hops atop some sweet juicy roast. Only medium body, sweet roast, licorice and vanilla. The hops are less dominant in the flavor but still leaves a bitter imprint. 280312

75 cl bottle @ home, bottled 28.06.2011
Aroma has hops, resin, some toffee, biscuits and vanilla. Flavour is sweetish and hoppy with lots of vanilla, salty licorice, some biscuits and resin. Also some oaky notes. A bit too sweet and sticky but nice anyway.

10/11/8/11/11/11

Bottle @ Vinens Verden, Odense. Pours nearly black with a creamy beige head and lacings. Nose is pine and ,caramel. Smooth and full bodied. Flavor is peach, caramel, fruit and vague roast. Sticky and oily. Ends bitter but basically too sweet malty. Not worth the duckets either . .
