Brewed by Jim and Joanne Meyers, this is Altitude’s 2011 Pro Am entry for the Great American Beer Festival in Denver.
Saison, or “season” in French, is the name originally given to refreshing, low alcohol ales brewed in Belgium farmhouses to quench farm workers during harvest season. Our saison is a traditional, smooth ale with flavors of lemon and pepper. It is light golden in color with low hop bitterness.
