Flash I2PA–on tap-pours a white head and hazy amber color. Aroma is pine, medium malt-caramel/bread. Taste is biting pine/orange/spice hops, secondary medium malt.

This is the February selection in Elevator’s "MBA" program. Hazy dark amber color with a medium foamy beige head with pretty good retention. Minimal lacing. Nice aroma of citrusy hops with a light malt undertone. Medium-bodied with a strong hops character, sometimes piney sometimes citrusy. The hops bitterness is balanced a bit by sweet malt. The finish is lingeringly bitter with more citrusy hops. This beer is tasty if somewhat 2-dimensional. It’s nice to see Elevator making more of a foray into big beers, and this is a good entry.
