This powerful, yet easy-drinking, golden brew is developed with a combination of old and new world hops, resulting in a beer with fragrant hop aromas, a smooth, balanced, malty character and a lingering hop bitterness in the finish. Named after Wojtek, pronounced [voy-tek] – the famous Polish army bear

Cask at the Greyhound (JDW), Maidenhead. Golden amber with a thin white head; fruity aroma; rich tropical fruit flavour with some chewy malts; then a long, building, bitterness leaving a sweet digestive biscuit finish. Deceptively easy to drink.(7/4/7/4/15=3.7, 10/21/2011)
50cl bottle from the Sainsbury’s Beer Hunt range at 5.5% ABV. Amber with a billowing white head that slowly settles; rich malty aroma with some grassy hops; thick in the mouth with an almost meaty flavour and perhaps some tropical fruit;; and a dry biscuity finish with a slight zing. (6/4/7/3/13=3.3, 10/10/2012)

Cask handpull at Baker Street Spoons. Gold depp slight haze lasting thin sparse white head. Quite a fruity strong golden ale. Stone fruits. Not in great nick but acceptable. Alcohol is quite well hidden but there is a touch of syrup. Its got decent hops on finish. For once I agree with Ken that this is one of the better festival beers. Fruit and malt on aroma. Good full beer.
