Amber is a big part of our success at PHB. She is the first non-owner to get a solo shift behind the bar because she's as knowledgeable as she is friendly and welcoming. She happens to like doppelbocks... so we suggested she help us brew one. Here it is--layers of Munich malt bready goodness, with hints of dark fruit and well-lagered to make it smooth as silk.

Tap. Pours clear mahogany, small beige head, good lacing. Aroma of roasty Bock, toasted wood chips, burnt sugars, molasses. Flavors is light plus sweet, light plus bitter, roasty, malty. Mediumn body, lingering bitterness.
