Against The Grain teamed up with Springdale Beer, the experimental wing of Jack’s Abby, to create the antithesis of the hazy IPA trend – an IPA that pours nearly as clear as water. No murky glasses of beer that resemble orange juice found here. Why not, right? After all, Crystal Pepsi is a real thing. This clear IPA features "any" hops, "any" grain and all the love and hugs. 6.5% It is also, of course, a cheeky and irreverent commentary on our subculture's social media driven obsession with beer appearance. Do androids dream of electric haze, or will clearer heads prevail?

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5
16 ounce can. Pale gold color. Frothy white head. Lemony hop nose hints at green onions. Flavor mirrors nose. Sweet lemon and green onions. Crisp and clean. Different.

Pour is a clear gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma is some lemon juice with garlic and onion. Flavor is kind of the same onion and garlic right out front with a little citrus. Decent, If you like your IPA's more on the herbal side then this is for you. Just a bit too much onion to give this a better score.
