AROMA: medium-high cinnamon and nutmeg aroma, followed by medium-low clove. slightly sweet background. APPEARANCE: orange-ish amber body and clear. medium beige head, creamy, with good retention. slight lace formation. TASTE: similar to the aroma with initial medium nutmeg and clove, followed by slight cinnamon. medium-low malty background, overwhelmed by the spices. medium bitterness with a semy-dry finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium body with medium-high carbonation. slight alcoholic warmth. OVERALL: although this spiced beer has a good spice character, it overshadows the base malt profile rendering it a bit unbalanced towards spices.
