Golden color. There is strong honey aroma, with mild fruity touch and a light soapy and perfumy side. The mouthfeel is medium sweet; honey flavor, followed by some herbs (like bog myrtle) and also some astringency that is more evident in the final (rare in Meads indeed); alcohol warmth. Peculiar, but quite good.

Bottle, 70cl. A clear, lightly golden colored mead, lighlty oily. Honey, heather notes and some flowers. Lightly spiced. Very warming on the palate, after a few seconds, with honey flavor and some stale flowers. Luckily the warmth disappeares rather quickly, making it a decent mead. But not the best in any way though. 111105

Bottled, thanks fiulijn! Clear pale golden, no head. Super sweet with fierce alcohol. Sugar mixed with apples and honey. Burning sweetness and alcohol coming through. Unrefined, almost fuel like mead.

Golden body, nice legs. Full honey nose, really nice. Interesting earthy, chocolatey even taste mixing with honey, pronounced warmth. Strangely bitterish, maybe from the alcohol. Starts enjoyable, doesn’t finish so. Slightly strange, but not bad overall, respectable strength.
