(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a clear, pilsener golden with a small, white head. Nose of aroma hops and pilsener malt. Medium body, sweetish malty without much bitterness. Still unmistakingly German in temper. 170706

Bottled. Clear, golden beer with a diminishing white head. Weak, malty aroma with hay and hops. Mostly the same in the flavor, which is not as weak as the aroma. Medium to thin body with some bitterness at the end. Wonβt get the gold medal from me. (060413)

330 ml clear bottle, now available in Norway (Vinmonopolet). Pale golden colour, decent head. The "skunky" whiff when opening the bottle is actually the best thing with this beer - the longer lasting aroma is sweetish and grassy, notes of maize (corn) even though this is a Reinheitsgebot beer. Flavour is very bland, just a little maize-like sweetness and minimal hops. Kulmbacher have obviously been tempted to produce a beer for the younger crowd of swill drinkers, people who really donβt like the taste of beer at all. Shame on you, Kulmbacher - you can do so much better than this!

A yellow beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and honey, while the flavor is malty with a dry hoppy end and a thin body.
