Cask-conditioned at the Robin Hoods Retreat, Bristol 30/10/07. Pale hazy gold with a moderate white head. Sweet malt aroma with a trace of floral hops. Flavour was distinctly strange, like sucking flints soaked in grapefruit juice. I also noticed a slightly metallic finish. Odd, and not in a positive way.

BCA, picked up from Home and Garden’s, Garden Centre, between Hereford and Leominster 09-03-07. Poured light amber in colour, taste was unspectacular and whilst ok, it lacked in all departments, a touch thin and watery with a slight metallic edge, some citrusyness but for me it suffered from that sort of home brew feel to it.
