Draught@Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen (backlog). Coppery black colour with a small beigeish brown head that leaves slight lace. Aroma is vanilla, alcohol, liquorice and toffee. Flavour is alcohol, toffee, liquorice, ripe fruits, vanilla and some raisins.

Draught. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Amber colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter candis flavor. Long moderate bitter fniish. Creamy palate.

Tap at Mikkeller. It pours deep mahogany with a medium off-white head. The nose is bourbon, vanilla, toffee, caramelized banana, earth, wood and brown sugar. The taste is earth, wood, caramel, vanilla, bourbon, light alcohol, raisin, dark fruit and fudge with a dry finish. Med-full body, moderate carbonation. Smooth, flavoursome and well-balanced. Dangerously drinkable...

Tap @ Mikkeller bar. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are bourbon, vanilla, wood, fruits, malt, notes of alcohol and hops.

On tap at Mikkeller Bar, November 2012. Almost clear reddish/brown with a small head. Aroma and taste of malt, some alcohol, wood, Bourbon, vanilla and toffee. A bit tart finish. A beer to sip.

Hazy red-amber color. Mushy aroma, yeasty, some caramel. Caramel flavor, light vegetables, some sweetness. Chaotic boozy malt beverage.

On tap at Mikkeller bar, Copenhagen. Courtesy of and shared with Papsoe (thanks a lot!) Darker amber coloured, creamy off-white head, bourbon and dried fruits in the nose. Moderate malty, caramel and dried fruits with pretty strong bourbon and spices notes. Dry finish. Enjoyable barley wine.

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar, Viktoriagade 8BC, kld., DK-1655 Copenhagen, Denmark.Unclear medium to dark brown - red amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, wood, vanilla, sweet wood, light alcohol - bourbon. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet candy, sharp, alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. On tap. Slightly hazy warm amber with a creamy beige head. Sweet caramel and sweet Bourbon notes. Medium-bodied only, caramel, spices, distinct and warming Bourbon notes and a whiff of roast. Never cloying, not overly hoppy and never boozy, actually very well balanced. 070911
