Pilsner malt and dark caramalt. Dried shells and pulp from Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza coffee berries. Saaz and Tettnang hops. Lemon grass, Thai basil and lime leaves.

(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Golden amber colour with lasting off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit, orange and hints of yeast. Fruity, malty taste with notes of citrus, tropical fruit, hints of treacle, some yeast and a spicy, earthy bitterness in the finish. Slightly sharp. More than medium body, with some sweetness. Quite different and fairly spicy. Nice one. Rating #2: (Bottle, 2 Aug 2014) Hazy golden colour with huge, frothy, white head. Fruity, spicy nose with notes of dried apricots, orange peel, pineapple, white bread, honey and herbal spices. Malty, fruity taste with bread, apricots, orange, a touch of lime, lemon-grass and a balanced spicy bitterness in a finish with a slight alcohol touch coming through. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and quite spicy. Still stands up well after three years in the bottle. Well done. Nice one. (Same numbers as the first rating.)

Tap @ Oliver Twist. Pours golden with a small white head. Yeasty aroma. Small smokeiness. Small spiciness. The taste is sweet. Caramel. The typical belgian yeast fruitiness is there. Spices in the aftertaste. Smooth and quite big bodied.

On tap at Oliver Twist in Stockholm. Amber with a small white head. Quite spicy aroma with malt, caramel, citrus, yeast. The same in the taste, also some notes of lemongrass and pepper. The finish was on the dry side. I think that this one was a bit better than the first Saison from Nils Oscar.

On tap at 19 Glas. Cloudy, light amber/dark golden liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma is spicy with notes of citrus, cloves, lemongrass, caramel, belgian yeast esters, banana. The Nils Oscar house flavour of burnt caramel and cooked vegetables is noticed but it works really well together with the rest of the aroma. Taste is malty, medium sweet and light to medium bitter and quite spicy. Medium bodied with nice carbonation. Overall, balanced and quite nice.
