In tribute to these mighty warriors we have brewed two imperial saisons. Patroclus is brewed with white grape and Nelson Sauvin hops, giving it a wine like quality. Savour this massive, dry and delicate saison!

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 07/12/2025.
Moderately hazed orange amber topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is tangy fruit rinds, straw, herb, lemon nip, hedgerow.
Taste comprises tangy fruits, yeast esters, shades of an old beer from the 50's!, grass cuttings, herb.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Okay .. not sure what it's trying to achieve though ... it doesn't pull off any Nelson achievements and also fails to deliver on flavour for the big boost.

Mildly hazy amber beer, slightly dirty in colour, decent bubbly cream colour head. Light smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Caramel malts, smooth with some malt cream. A boozy very ripe white wine vibe on the back end. Light smooth finish. Hmmm! Not very saison and the dominant flavour here is caramel malts and aged wine. Nice experiment but, for me anyway, it hasn't really delivered a memorable brew
