Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5
Handpull cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Light grapefruit juice gold, hazy with a somewhat thin off-white head. It does have a decent grapefruit aroma with gentle notes of blackberry alongside.taste is sweet and juicy with enough malt to ground it. Pink grapefruit, orange, elderberry. A tad more bitterness nearer the finish. Light body with soft carbonation. Predictable, maybe, but good.
