Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Golden colour, mediumsized white foamy head, that vanishes quite quickly. Aroma is mild floral notes along with rather much bready and grainy notes with some slight grassy and hayish hops as well. Flavour is hay, grains, some bready malts as well as some slight notes of earth and herbs.

Bottle from Bierzwerg. Golden color with huge white head. Aroma of sweet malt, grain and some fruitiness. Taste, starts sweet malty, than continues with red fruit touch, long bittersweet finish. Refreshing, drinkable.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts strong and spicy, more dry than sweet. Good use of hops. Well balanced finish. Good!

Bottle. Light grainy nose. Golden, low head. Medium body, sparkly. Light grain, ok balance. Not too inspired, but quenches the thirst.

bottle. Clear deep golden yellow colour, large white head. Malty nose. Fruity and very malty with a dry and hoppy finish. There is an interesting but shy note of salt present. Smooth mouthfeel - a pleasant brew.

Bottle: Golden coloured with a small, stable white head, visible carbonation, light grainy bisquity nose with the faintest tinge of cardboard; sweetish-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; almost not detectable light grainy-bitter finish. Boredom rules........

(bottle) I was told that Stöttner Festbier PfaffenGold is the renewed Festbier, now available all the year. Clear, pale golden colour with a big, but quickly diminishing foamy white head. Sweet, slightly strawy malt aroma with a touch of honey. Slightly sweet flavour with a tinge of bitterness, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Malty base, not overly aromatic but slightly papery and perfumed; almost dry, honey-malty finish with shy hints of hops. Just the souped-up version of their Helles.
