Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden amber and hazy to cloudy. Nose - fresh eating apples. Taste - sour tangy cooking apples. Palate - very gently carbonated medium bodied with a big tangy texture and a long dry texture. Overall - yep this is proper cider.

From a plastic barrel @ GBBF 2011, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Light unclear light to medium yellow colour with a small, fizzy - virtually none, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy apple, spicy apples, wood, fruity apples, barnyard notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light acidic with a long duration, spicy apples, wood, fruity, pear syrup notes. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is flat. [20110805]
