This new, pale golden beer has been brewed exclusively for this Wetherspoon real-ale festival. It is a crisp, refreshing, hoppy IPA, with citrus notes in the aroma and flavour, enhanced by the infusion of real grapefruit.

Wetherspoon Autumn Beer Festival 2019. Cask @ Leeds Station Wetherspoon, Leeds. Golden-blonde with a creamy head. It’s hoppy with hints of citrus that do provide a higher bitterness factor with a citric influence. There’s no stated grapefruit though.

Cask at the moon under water Watford Jdw. A pale gold coloured pour with a lasting fine white head. Aroma is jammy apricot, flavouring, grapefruit, bready grains. Flavour is composed of semi sweet raw base malts, firm grassy hop bitterness, bitter grapefruit, some flavourings, somewhat artificial. Palate is semi crisp, bitter, decent cask condition. Not bad.
