Location: Sampled at the NY Brewfest on Governor's Island, 6/19/10
Aroma: The nose on this one has some spice, yeast, a little peppery, and some citrus
Appearance: This beer pours a hazy golden color with a small white head atop it
Flavor: It tastes pretty balanced, some sweetness up-front, and a light-medium bitter finish
Palate: The body is medium, with a crisp, clean feel, and a dry, herbal finish to it
Overall Impression: I thought this beer was alright overall. It isn't the greatest Pils out there, but it is solid enough. This certainly isn't anything special, but it is definitely drinkable.

Can, 4.9%. Mild lagery aroma, hint of OK bread. Almost clear golden colour. Small stable creamy chalk white head. The flavour is mildly bready, has a distinct bitterness, getting a bit sour. Clean, though.

Draught at Macgregors. Pale gold. Nice hoppy aroma, crisp and clean. Hoppy, grass flavor with some fruit, grapes, minerals, and a big bitter finish. Very clean and drinkable, very bitter. Malts not distinctive. Light and a bit watery, though the hops bring it through.

Draught at Pony Bar, New York
Blond color. The aroma is lightly grassy. Simple flavor, dry malt, and straw hopping. Not bad, but easy, like many bräuhaus Pils in Germany.

12 oz can given to me by bvc. 8334 BY 07/19/09 printed on the can. Pour is clear golden with a perfectly white and well formed one inch head. Intermittent carbonation bubbles gently float to the surface. Decent lacing as the beer falls. Aroma of fresh, bright earthy maltiness. Lightly toasted, slight cilantro spice hops behind the malt. Delicate nose, as mentioned quite fresh. Taste is grainy, toasty maltiness, with a grassy bright Saaz earthy hoppiness balanced in. Finish lingers with pleasant mineral earthiness. Palate is medium thin, taste fills the mouth, lifts with nice carbonation and finishes earthy mineral and dry. Nicely and drinkable. If this were local, I would drink a bunch of it. Thanks for giving me this one Brandon, it was right up my alley.
