Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is chocolate, mild coffee, liquorice, some raisins and dark fruityness. Flavour is caramel, toffee, some nice hops and liquorice. Wellbalanced and pleasant Stout.

Cask (gravity) @ The 17th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2011, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, caramel, burnt, chocolate, chlorine notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20110427]

Cask gravity at Oxford Beer Festival 16-10-08 Thanks for adding this Hughie, I had this on Thursday night but forgot to take down the abv and couldn’t find details of it anywhere. Fruity and chocolatey straight away and whilst there is some bitterness there its just sort of kicking about half heartedly liked a bored teenager with its hands in its pockets kicking a can along the road, little bit of creaminess, its really quite nice, interesting how it got the name.
