[2/21/15] Draught at Rip Current North Park in San Diego. Nice clear deep red. Aroma of malt, caramel and dark fruits. Sweet flavor, malty, with dark fruits, caramel and a bit of alcohol.

Sample at the Aces & Ales Winter Beer Fest on 01/18/2015. This brew is a reddish-amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, dark fruit and hops. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, raisins and earthy hops. The finish is dark fruits and malt. Above average overall.
