Bottle at home, from Cider Incider, 18/06/22. Batch P54, bottled Feb 2021, @6% ABV. Light golden with a fast collapsing white head, a few floaties in the bottle that made it into the first part of my pour. Nose is bitter pear, orchard wood, tannins, light acidic notes. Taste comprises bitter pears, wood, tannins, vinous, hedgerow. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent enough perry ... quite a sharp and bitter one with minimal sweetness compared to the norm.

500ml bottle from Station House Cider Festival 2019. Slightly hazy yellow colour, foamy white head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of pear, fleshy, mucky hint. Taste is sweetish, tangy, pear, astringent, with oily, leathery funk. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tangy peppery finish. Quite drinkable

Bottle from the Bristol Cider Shop. Pale gold with a hint of green. Dead flat. Dry pear fruit aroma with some woodiness. Heavy, slightly oily mouth feel, with flavours beginning with dry, acidic fruit before giving way to some sweetness. Finish was dry with an after taste of pear skin. Good.
