33 cl bottle @ olio. Batch #549: BBE 7.5.2017
Aroma has grapefruit, pineapple juice and some pine needles. Flavour has pineapple juice, grapefruit, pine needles and hints of minerals. Mild herbal bitterness in the finish. Bitterness is a bit too overwhelming in the aftertaste for my taste.

Bottle at home from Caps n Taps. Pours hazy yellow with a thin head. Juicy fruits, mango, citrus and a little dank in the aroma. Really juicy taste, a real tropical juice bomb, easy drinking and smooth. Really good stuff.

(330ml bottles from Systembolaget, various batches, all < 2 weeks old) Pours nearly opaque pale orange with an average, fine white head that fades to a ring with lace. Super fruity aroma is almost pungent, with loads of passion fruit, lychee, peach, mango, tangerine, pear, slight pineapple, floral, a little pine/leafy dank character, maybe a touch of vanilla and oats. Flavour is a bit less utterly fruit driven and more balanced with some bitter, citrus pith and leafy hop character, but still has lots of mango, passion fruit, tangerine, nectarine, along with grass and floral notes. A clean slightly sweet pale malt core, creamy oat character. Finish is bone dry and moderately bitter, with lingering fruit. Smooth and round in the mouth with a soft but still prickling carbonation. Really lovely balance here, the hop schedule is obviously nailed so it’s nice and juicy, but it’s balanced by a touch of bitterness and fleshed out by the mouthfeel. This is so drinkable!

ENORMOUS THANKS VIKTOR! Shared with Ogivlado, Franski and Kajser. Murky yellow body, small but lasting white head. Enormous tropical fruit, lime and hugely dank aroma. Tropical fruit, huge grapefruit, dankness, medium well integrated piney notes. Lightly prickly carbonation to round everything well up, not overly bitter, just well rounded, maybe a bit light in the taste, but only a little. Superbly aromatic, complexly hoppy, well balanced IPA. Wow.

Finally I could track this one down on tap in Copenhagen! Draught at Black Swan Bar. Milky golden colour with a creamy, white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, apricot, peaches, grasses, lightly toasted notes. Some hops oils. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes lasting dry and bitter with lingering citrus fruits and exotic impressions. World class IPA, well worth the hype!

330ml bottle from Kihoskh. Batch 549, BBE 090517. Pours cloudy yellowish with a smooth foamy head. Aroma of juicy and citrusy hops, grapefruit, truckload of tropical fruits, mild dankness and grass. Taste is juicy and hoppy with loads of tropical notes, citrus, grass and grapefruit. Finish is chewy hoppy, juicy fruity and tropical with some grapefruit, citrus and biscuity maltiness. Very tasty and balanced NE style IPA, despite it’s not super fresh.

Bottle from Bottle Baron. Milky pale golden body with a medium white head that holds well. Lively carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of crackers, apricot, piña colada and melon rind. Flavour of mango, white bread, underripe pineapple and creamy sweetness, cleansed by a bitter, limey finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture. Soft fizz. An impressive IPA, although I feel that Amazing Haze is better.
