Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a touch of amber and a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a strong resinous pine with underlying grass and straw notes. Flavor is similar with a grass and resinous pine throughout and a straw backbone.

Hops everywhere, with a fresh, west coast flavor. Bitter hop aroma, and the flavor has grapefruit and pine. Light malt, a successfully unbalanced beer that is focused on the hops.
