Poured from a 16 oz can dated July 11, 2024. Aroma is hop forward with a strong citra note. Tons of grapefruit, tangerine and tropical citrus with lighter notes of stone fruit and a touch of dank, pine resin. Light cracker malt notes and hints of alcohol. Pours a hazy, dull, yellow straw color with a medium large, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. High lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with light cracker malt notes. Medium high bitterness and light alcohol notes. Rather hop forward with lots of juicy grapefruit, tangerine and tropical citrus. Lighter pineapple, peach and stone fruit notes with a hint of dank, oily resin in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid hazy IPA that does a great job showing the super fruity side of citra. Not much dank, resin notes. Malt profile is light as is the bitterness and alcohol which allows the hops to really shine.

Another citra stack for today, and surprisingly very different from the last citra crispy one. This one ends up more tropical and thick. Very much a difference across Brewers. Brouwerij west has it's special hints of wheat.
