Poured from a 16 oz can dated June 06, 2022. Aroma has moderate hop notes with grapefruit, peaches, oily, resin notes and hints of tropical fruit. Medium light cracker malt notes with hints of biscuit and faint alcohol notes. Pours a very clear, brilliant gold color with a medium sized, fairly thick, pillowy white head that recedes fairly quickly to the edges where it lingers in clumps. Light lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with moderate malt notes of cracker and hints of biscuit. Fairly strong bitterness and light alcohol notes. Fairly strong oily, resinous pine hop notes with quite a bit of grapefruit that linger into the finish. Hints of tropical fruit and peaches. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall an alright West Coast IPA, but one that is decidedly too bitter and resinous for my preferences these days.
