Poured from a 16 oz can dated June 11, 2021. Aroma is fairly hop forward with quite a bit of mango, passion fruit, orange, grapefruit and berry notes. Light cracker malt notes and hints of alcohol. Pours a rather clear, pale, yellow-gold with a medium large, thick, frothy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers on the edges. Light lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with light cracker malt notes. Fairly strong bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong hop notes of passion fruit, mango, tropical citrus, strawberry, orange and grapefruit with light dank, resin notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent West Coast IPA. Solid hop notes balanced with good bitterness and alcohol. Malt notes are light. I think I am just not a fan of strata hops. Flavor is better than the aroma.
