Poured from a 16 oz can dated April 8, 2021. Aroma is fairly fruity with lots of passion fruit, mango and tropical citrus with lighter orange, grapefruit and pine resin notes. Light cracker malt notes and hints of caramel. Light alcohol notes. Pours a fairly clear, brilliant gold, with a medium sized, medium thick, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers on the edges. Flavor is slightly sweet with light cracker malts and hints of caramel. Fairly strong bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong hop notes of passion fruit, mango, tropical citrus and lighter orange, grapefruit and pine notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid West Coast IPA. Lots of nice hop notes balanced with an assertive bitterness and balanced malt profile. Alcohol is fairly well hidden.
