7.6/10 Appearance 8 Aroma 8 Flavor 7 Texture 8 Overall 7.5
Poured from a 16 oz can dated December 14, 2020. Aroma is fairly hop forward with passion fruit, mango, guava and tropical citrus notes. Light cracker malt notes and hints of alcohol. Light dank, resinous, oily hop notes. Pours a hazy, pale, dull, golden straw color with a medium large, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with light cracker malt notes. High amount of bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong hop notes of passion fruit, mango, orange, guava and tropical citrus. Medium light pine resin and lighter dank notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid IPA. Much more bitter than a typical juicy, hazy ipa but it has solid fruity hop aroma and flavor.
