Under The City

Poured from a 16 oz can dated September 17, 2020. Aroma is very hop forward and fruity with quite a bit of apple, papaya, orange, grapefruit, passion fruit and hints of resin. Medium light cracker malt notes and hints of caramel. Light alcohol notes. Pours a fairly clear, brilliant, golden orange with a medium large, thick, pillowy white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers. Flavor is slightly sweet with moderate cra her malt notes and hints of biscuit and caramel. Moderately strong bitterness and light alcohol notes. Loads of orange, grapefruit, tropical citrus, papaya, passion fruit and dank resin notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice West Coast DIPA. Loads of fun hop character, especially the Equinox in the aroma. The hop flavor is a bit more traditional, but still very fruity. Solid balance of alcohol, bitterness and malt.
