Poured from a crowler purchased at the brewery yesterday. Aroma is very hop forward and juicy with lots of orange, tangerine, and tropical citrus, pineapple, guava and passion fruit with hints of melon. Light cracker malt notes and hints of alcohol. Pours a hazy, pale, yellow-gold straw color with a large, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers in clumps on the edges. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor is rather sweet with light cracker malt notes. Loads of juicy hop notes with lots of passion fruit, mango, papaya, lychee and lighter notes of melon, guava and tropical citrus. Moderate bitterness and light alcohol notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a fun IPA. Loads of juicy and fruity hop notes that are pretty different between the aroma and flavor. The aroma is much more citrus and pineapple forward while the flavor is much more delicate passion fruit.
