Cask@GBBF2011. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, wood, some mild bready and resiny notes. Flavour is leathery, some mild wooden notes as well as mild fruity and floral notes. Pleasantly balanced.

Cask at the Cambridge Blue, Cambridge. Gold with a thin white head; fruity aroma with apples and pears; the taste has biscuity malts and sour fruit; then a dry lemony finish. Not bad, but not what I expect from an IPA.

Hook Norton Beer Festival 22-07-06. I have often seen Potton beers around but for some reason have never got around to trying them and only tried this as I had to nip in and use my last token before we had to depart. Amber in colour, aroma a bit sweet with some malts and hops, taste also quite hoppy and a little sweet again. Unexciting and understrength IPA that really isn’t an IPA at all but an ok session bitter.

[Cask at Volunteers Arms, GBBF 2004] An orange beer with no head. Both the aroma and flavor are primarily sweet malty, but also slightly fruity. The mouthfeel is cask flat and the body is thin.
