Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Clear straw colour, tight head. Aroma of hay and butterscotch. Medium dry with plenty of paper and diacetyl. Rounded mouthfeel. The malt sweetness is balanced by grassy hops. Medium bitterness. The diacetyl does not go as well in a German pils as in their Czechish counterparts.

(Bottle 33 cl) A black label always make me expect a black beer, but nothing could be further from the truth here. Golden pilsener colour with a creamy head. Malty with lovely aroma hops and a bit sharp bitterness. 090800

Draught. Clear golden colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is subtle, low bitterness. Tastes OK, but is rather boring.

Very pale yellow, nearly metallic green shine; heavy pearling to bit disparate white head. Nose with chalk, summer straw- or wheatfield, honeyblossom, biscuit. Taste starts much more "herb", less sweet, but gradually fills in with sweet malt. Very remarkable flavour as unsalted pistacchio (or is it the colour that suggests that?). Every sip gives anew the bitter start, then the filling it with sweet/pistacchio. Not very full-bodied, but apt and refreshing enough. Well, I must confess liking this as a good Pilsener. Yet nothing out of the ordinary - just craftmanship.

Dusty malt and herbal bitterhop aroma. Bright yellow, nice pearling carbonation, low white lacing head. Dough-like and slightly nutty malt base with a strong bitterhop counterpoint, towards the end the beer fizzles out a bit - bitter but not harmonic exit on a relatively light body and a somewhat sticky mouthfeel.
