Sold as Carrefour Discount Cidre Bouche Doux. Labeled 2 % alcohol. Purchased in grocery, Paris, Latin Quarter, October 3, 2011. corked and caged. Medium carbonation. gold color. simple, apple and medium sweet. very drinkable, and it only cost 1 euro, so I can’t complain. It drank pretty good.

[ As Carrefour Bio Zachte cider Cidre doux ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy apple, earthy apples, earthy, yellow apples. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration, yellow floury apples, sweet apples. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20110820]

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes light sour and sweet apples. Taste is medium sweet and light sour with a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, 75cl corked. A dense, finger-thick, white head sits on top of a clear, golden body. Sweet apples and some apple cores on the nose, quite cellar-ish too. A bit sweet on the palate, medium bodied and slightly sourish. Although a bit too weak and sweet, it’s a tasteful and pleasant cider. 110820
