New year, new us. Super tropical, citrusy, and incredibly juicy double dry-hopped IPA. Plus a perfect malt balance. Brewed as a toast to a year of great beer and a great community. A wide spectrum of different tones and influences, all coming ogether in one multi-faceted explosion. Prismism. In a can. Cheers.

Clear golden and peach coloured body with a frothy off-white head, about three centimetres tall at first that fades relatively quickly and leaves a nice lace on the sides of the glass. Aroma of grass, citrus, hay, flowers and a faint malt graininess, with some dry yeast and a hint of alcohol noticeable. Medium-bodied; Relatively dry and herbal hops show at first with a light bitterness from grapefruit and flowers, but only a sliver of malt that's noticeable on the very end, a very biscuity and almost alternative/specialty grain that shows through and a hint of alcohol coming through at the end as well. Aftertaste is dry, grassy, herbal and almost showing as a lager with the biscuity yeast elements and pungent bitterness, mainly from the yeast, but also from the hops. Overall, decent, but too dry and grassy without enough complexity or range and showing not enough malts and the alcohol seems much more than 5,5 per cent. Nice enough to try super fresh (same day as purchase), but not worth buying for others who may have the choice. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 02-October-2020 for US$3,50 sampled at my house here in Washington just several minutes later on 02-October-2020 as well.

Pint can from the brewery, 9/21/20. Slightly hazy gold large foamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of floral, green, minty, earth, pine, pale malt. Taste is resin, lime, dank, green, grapefuit, pale malt. Medum bodied, juicy, moderate bitterness. Nice.

Pounder: Piney nose, hints of gumball. Clear amber, thick head, nice lace. Pine. Light body, soft carbonation, a little watery. Hoppy, to the exclusion of any malt presence. Hopheads will love it.

Pint can, Wine Warehouse. Pours clear gold with a small off-white head. Juicy citrus aroma consisting of orange and grapefruit, some peel, some pine. Flavor is soft citrus up front with a bit of bitter citrus peel finish. Simple and clean.
