At the source. Oily, matte black, thin cocoa head. Coconut oil, creme de minthe intensity, thin dark chocolate nose. Crispy carb, oily & overly toasted coconut, big whiskey warmth & sweetness. Carrot. Earthy, itchy texture, sweet creme, some coffee-like oxidation, a bit too sharp. Really hot & belly warming. Barely okay. Not as good as the Xela coffee variant.

On tap at the brewery. Pours brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong roasted malt, chocolate, cracker, wood. Slick body, similar flavors to nose, boozy, dry finish, very nice.
