Draft @ Beer wars. Had to seek this out as it was listed at 117 IBUs on the sheet... who knows if that’s true or not, but it does create some buzz. Poured a golden orange with plenty of beige head. Nose is stale, sort of wet cardboard and floral notes. Tastes about the same. Something didn’t go according to plan here. Unpleasant.

Can from Malt & Vine. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma seems a mix of apple and white grape. Less than medium body. Flavor is fruit - could be grapefruit, something that might be apple - the grape didn’t carry through to flavor, and the malt is rather bitter - but it’s malty. It’s a little spicy/earthy - which is likely the cluster. It’s growing on me; it’s a good drink; it’s not really exciting. It is very hoppy. Each quaff seems to finish with a fruity sweetness. Weird given the bitter.

Draft @ Parkway Tavern. Slightly hazy with no head. Lightish, but more important I would call this sweet, malt-accented, a little appley. Not enticing. It came out of the Country Boy tap handle but otherwise you wouldn’t know it was an IPA.

Draft pour at the 192 lake trail taproom. Pours a cloudy golden color with a thin oily head and lacing. Mild grains and hip aroma. Flavor is decently hoppy and juicy, with some orange and light grapefruit. A little sweet at first. Has a bit of a bitter bite in the finish. Has quite a bit of a lingering bitier hop flavor as well. Enjoyable IPA, but the bitterness of this one kinda got to me. I’d have this again.

Tap at Everybody’s Brewing, 24/05/13. Lightly hazed pale blonde with a good sized off white head. Good lacing ensues. Nose is hops, citrus, grass, cereals. Taste comprises bitter orange, hops, grass, citrus. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, bitterness in the finale. Ok - not one I’d look to again though.

Sample at Hale’s in Seattle. The beer pours a hazy golden-amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and sweet malt. Medium body with a moderately bitter citrus hops character and notes of grainy malt in the background. The finish is fruity with a lingering hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

GBBF. Cask. Hazy gold beer, tidy off white head. Light dry palate. Nice hops. Pine, grass and a little tangerine and then a blooming aggressive grapefruit. Trace of tropical fruits before the bitter dry finish. Decent.
