Bottle. Little Leeds Beer House. Pitch black in the glass. Head is perfect. Thin. Sticky. Dense. Fully lacing. Leggy. Not sure a beer could look any better. Nose has wood ash. Scorched citrus. Touch of melon. Touch of minty herb. Taste is scorched, citrus bitterness. No let up. Full body. Medium carbonation. Chewy, pithy, burnt bitterness to finish. Super tasty.

Bottle at MK BG, 22/05/18. Pitch black with a well presented tan covering. Nose is earthy malts, cocoa sprinkle, toffee, mellow hoppy aroma, light charr. Taste comprises light charr, roast malts, cocoa sprinkle, toffee, dried fruits, light ashen tones. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with dusty hop bitterness. Solid hopped up porter ... runs alongside a CDA in many respects but not as good as the previous version. Xolid none the less !

8 4 8 4 16Draft at Kaapse 4th Anniversary Festival โ18. Black with a light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, roast, dark malt, weedy hops and caramel. Flavour is above moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
