Classic barleywine notes accentuated by rye spice on the front end- we get caramel, nougat, raisin, brown sugar. Those flavors are punctuated by the tequila finish, highly spirited with earthy citrus notes. It culminates in a lovely marshmallow finish. The body of this beer lends itself to a great sustain that carries these flavors long past the sip.

Masterfully done, tequila barrel finish for earthy citrus notes? A little sus. But hell it turned out amazing and on point. Loved the sweet tangy, dates and citrus notes. Kinda like the pineapple stouts that tasted like cake, magical! Thx FlandersNed !

Bottle thanks to Brian. Pours a dark copper with small beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is toffee, dark fruit, molasses, wood. Slick body, similar flavors to nose, nice sweetness, boozy, very nice.
