Double Barrel Caribbean Shade aged 16 months in both Willet Bourbon and Caribbean Rum barrels before aging an additional 5 months in a blend of Cruzan Rum and Basil Hayden Double Oak bourbon barrels containing piles of luxe Tahitian Vanilla beans. Post aging, toasted coconut and cassia bark were added to enhance the warm chocolatey depth of its already rich base. Flavor highlights of rum-soaked samoas, chocolate covered coconut flakes, and beach blanket daydreams.

Bottle thanks to Randy. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is chocolate, vanilla, coconut, roast, bourbon, wood. Thick body, chewy roast, dark chocolate, marzipan, vanilla, boozy finish, cloying sweetness, very nice.
