Half pint at the brewery, pours a translucent brown with some off white head. Nose has a lot of botanicals, witch hazel, wormwood, anise, clove, malt is hiding in the back. Thankfully, the malt and caramel lead on the tongue, herbs and botanicals are still there, anise, witch hazel, tea tree, a little clove. Dried fruits now too and some preserved lemon or limoncello. Draft at Port City Brewing. Poured a medium-dark amber-brown with an off-white head. Aroma was toasted malts, some herbal and light minty notes. I generally hate Fernet, but this was pretty tasty. Herbal, smoked malts. Light minty toffee finish.
